Denis A. Boyle, Jr., M.D.

Specialties: General Practice, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Denis Boyle graduated from Villanova University in 1972. He received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He furthered his medical training by serving as Lieutenant Commander in the medical corps of the United States Navy. As a seasoned medical professional, Dr. Boyle utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to maximize treatment success rates and complement preventative care.

Dr. Boyle is certified through the Drug Enforcement Administration in Medication-Assisted Opioid Addiction Therapy, and believes “Recovery only begins when you stop the personal focus of your disease and learn to help others.” In 2015 he was inducted into the Delaware Valley Irish Hall of Fame for his continuance, preservation, and advancement of Irish Culture through his compassionate patient care in Upper Darby.

Kristin Szostak, MA

Nearly everyone has been touched by addiction at some point in their life.  Being passionate about her therapeutic work with individuals focused on breaking patterns of active addiction and establishing healthier lifestyles Kristin brings years of experience to her role as Primary Therapist at Center City Recovery. Kristin’s educational background includes an MA in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University and an undergraduate degree in Rutgers University’s Bachelor of Arts program in 2006. Her professional career boasts work across the spectrum of care serving persons in medication assisted therapy programs, abstinence based programs, inpatient care, residential programs, and in Philadelphia Treatment Court.  Kristin strives earnestly to develop and foster connections as she walks with individuals along their journey to achieve sobriety, recovery, and a full return to living.
