Everyone’s journey in life can take a different path to success. The same is true for your journey to recovery. Treatment team professionals at Center City Recovery personalize and adapt our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs to meet you where you are in your journey. We work with you, walking together through your path to address physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs as well as family relationships, educational, and vocational support. Our treatment programs share the same focus and priority: Your total well-being.
Clients who engage in our partial hospital program and intensive outpatient program achieve greater outcomes. We help our clients to look deeper and explore what motivates self-protective behaviors that are no longer successful. We do so through building a nurturing, clinical environment that supports development of healthy behaviors and thought patterns. Our experience has shown this method creates a foundation of durable sobriety. Our therapeutic process is a collaborative effort allowing our treatment team to function more as a family. All clients of our team pull together combining individual strengths and professional skill sets to provide each client with the best care possible. We use a proven effective, and nationally recognized protocol that reinforces positive behavior by combining evidence-based treatment practices with innovative therapies to help achieve lasting recovery.

At Center City Recovery, we understand that the pain of addiction is not felt by the addict alone, but also by the family and friends who love and care about them. While you may hope that the addict in your life will come to understand the harm their substance abuse is causing, they will usually deny that a problem exists at all. In these cases, staging an addiction intervention might be the only way to help them come to terms with their addiction and seek treatment.
An intervention is a structured conversation between loved ones and an addict, often supervised by an intervention specialist. Successful interventions can help loved ones of an addict express their feelings constructively.
If simply talking to the person with the problem doesn’t work, a group intervention is an effective next step. Interventions also show addicts how their actions affect those they care about. The goal is to help the person struggling get into addiction recovery and rehabilitation.
An intervention party needs to set expectations and recovery goals for the addict to meet post-intervention. The addict must be held accountable if he or she does not keep up with treatment.
Possible consequences could be removing children from their custody or refusing to let them live at home anymore. It’s important for the intervention party to stay strong in enforcing these consequences if need be.
